I had a physio appointment first thing this morning. I thought I was doing ok, but Ben thought otherwise! 20mins of him digging his fingers into my hips and stomach really loosened my hamstring, but has left huge marks - the bruising is going to be superb.
Managed to get out at lunch time for a run with the Hurts guys and spent much of the run in pleasant conversation with Sam along with re-telling some of Pat Farmers stories from Friday night.
Sad to see Geb didn't make the Ethiopian team for London. I would have selected him for the marathon but what do I know! On a positive note, it was great to see that Ryder Hesjedal won the Giro overnight. Really thought he would make it, but he had 31secs to take back over the final 30k TT which was no means a given.
